Jordan Productions have returned to dazzle audiences once again with Beauty and the Beast, 2024’s pantomime at the New Theatre Royal. Packed full of fun, it skilfully combines all of the elements you would expect from any good pantomime with a variety of modern twists to recount ‘a tale as old as time’ in a new and exciting way.
The broad range of genres and eras expressed in the music is testament to the versatility of the band, who complement the rich vocal harmonies faultlessly executed by the cast on stage.
Beautifully choreographed sequences captivate the audience, while classic slapstick comedy has them in stitches. Audience members were dancing along in their seats throughout, and in fact some of the youngest could not help but jump up and boogie along.
